EXPO

EXPO Milan 2015 is the Universal Exhibition on Food and Nutrition, which Italy hosted from 1 May to 31 October 2015, with the theme ‘Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life’.

An exhibition area of 1.1 million square metres, more than 140 countries and international organisations involved, over 20 million of visitors.

EXPO has been an open platform for dialogue, the promotion of technological innovations and cooperation between nations, organisations and companies, with the aim of facing the need to ensure healthy, safe and sufficient food for all peoples, in respect of the Planet and its balances.

A showcase to get to know and taste the world’s best cuisine, and discover the excellence of each country’s food and gastronomic tradition.

Throughout the duration of the event, have taken place artistic and musical performances, conferences, shows, creative workshops and exhibitions.

Within this space, RP Leader organised, on behalf of FERPI ( Federazione Relazioni Pubbliche Italiana), the talk-show ‘Expo & Food: the role of communication in food promotion worldwide’ at the Bio-Mediterranean Cluster Pavilion, which was attended by the Presidents of the PR Associations belonging to the Global Alliance, representatives of the countries present in the Cluster and the Region of Sicily, official partner of Expo, which hosted the event.
